The Business Ownership Podcast

What is credibility and Why is a CPoP (Customer Point of Pain) Important?

Episode Summary

1. Credibility, according to the dictionary, is the demonstration of trust. Trust is the demonstration of integrity, authenticity and vulnerability. Add commitment to that to truly encapsulate credibility. 2. A demonstration of credibility is to “show up when you show up.” That’s coming early to meetings, being prepared, and showing your heart. 3. Credibility is the key to being seen. It is showing up when you show up (personally or virtually, with one person or a thousand). It is what your customers and prospects look for when deciding who they should do business with. 1. CPoP is short for “Customer Point of Pain” which is the specific problem, issue, or concern that your customers and prospects have that you help resolve. 2. CPoP Structure: 1) CPoP can, but doesn’t need to, include the class of clients served. 2) In 1-10 words (1-5 seconds), this represents the primary problem, issue, or concern you address for your clients. 3) It should be short, memorable, shareable and begs the statement “tell me more”.
