Hey there!  I’d love to ask you how you are.  I’m super excited to have you here sharing all things entrepreneurial growth related. It’s a topic I never tire of, and I won’t tire of it, at least not until you’re as successful as you want to be in business. 

 

My name’s Michelle Nedelec and I lead the Creative side of my company called Awareness Strategies.So, let’s back up the bus a bit, Awareness Strategies is a digital marketing company that focuses on the IT behind digital marketing and we specialize in affiliate marketing in particular.   If you’re not familiar with the nuances of those… Haha as I think of explaining all of those differences I think there’s an entire show worth of material right there. So, I will do that.  I’ll record another show explaining the differences in the multitude of pillars within marketing because it has become an entire ecospace of it’s own. 

So, within our company there is an IT side of the company that is run by my partner in business and pleasure, Brad Mooney. Fortunately for me, Brad’s been working in IT for over 40 years; working with companies like IBM, CNRL, Haliburton and as the director of the data centre operations, that included program management, IT architecture and a whole bunch of other things that I can’t even remember.Needless to say, he’s way freaking smarter than me and at times it comes in super handy to get him on tech support calls. 

I, on the other hand, run the creative side. So I’m not only the Creative Director but I also work with marketing strategies of our clients and prospects, I’ll work with their marketing departments, sales teams and customer service teams to make sure that they all have everything they need to satisfy their ideal client’s Customer Journey. 

How did I get here, well that’s a great question with a potentially really long answer, but I’ll spare you that and let you put the pieces of the puzzle together as you listen to the shows.  The short answer is that I have been an entrepreneur since I was 23.  I have experience having run my own sales team, I’ve been an executive coach specializing in working with sales trainers. I’ve run a company called Success Therapy where I ultimately worked with executives to strategize their business growth, develop their marketing plans, and help them process through their head trash, to ultimately scale their businesses. Throw in that I was a computer programmer, once upon a time, and that I’m really artsy and you start to see a pattern emerge. 

Where my passion lies is in helping entrepreneurs become successful.  On the back burner, I believe it’s because I see the journey from entrepreneurship to Business Ownership as one of the craziest paths to enlightenment and I really like helping the ADD, PTSD, and all around wild cats of the planet prove to everyone that it can be done. 

So, if that describes you or the fantasy you have of yourself, then I’m here to help you succeed.  I’ll be interviewing some of the best in the business world who have created tribes of raving fans who love not only doing business with them, but referring their friends to them, all of whom come back year after year.  Which, of course is the goal, yes? And, I’ll be interviewing entrepreneurs who’s crazy human trick is helping you build your business. 

I’d love to see you join me every week to learn at least one new thing that will help you to scale your business and get you to the point where your business could run without you, that to me, is the definition of Business Ownership. You know, those businesses, that might even do better when you’re not there. I want you to be able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it, because you have the strategies, systems, support and state of mind that you need in place to OWN your business and not run it.
